Last night, I finally got cvs working. Now i know what people mean when they say sourceforge cvs is a hit or miss matter...
About a week from now, i should be able to upload the first file release. I am reworking the current sytem as a client and server system.
Now, the server currently will probably currently only run in linux, as i am using the POSIX pthread. Although, i have heard that windows has POSIX compatibility libraries.

When the server is finished i will create three clients. Windows in directx and opengl, and linux in opengl (duh). Also, when i release the server, i will host it on a machine over here, so end users with windows can simply connect to it
For the lazy ones, you can make your way back to the sourceforge project page here: PARIAH Project page

Platima, an old friend, and excellent programmer, has joined the project. This whole thing originally came from a weather program he produced. He told me about it, and i came up with the idea of extending it further. Creating an entire universe... Okay, the server is coming along nicely, still doesnt do anything, but i have at least added threading capability. I'm implementing the socket communication as we speak. Should be read by the end of the day, with client and everything. Hopefully.

Now that we have the official statement out of the way, ill say it in lamans terms. i want due credit given for anything here that you take. Come on, it isn't that hard. Also, i dont want people to be making money off of anything here. I dont, so why should you? Of course, thse commercial limit does not apply to the PARIAH Simulator itself, as it is only referenced on this website. the program and source code itself are on a different website (http://sourceforge.net/projects/pariah), so only the stated license (which, at the time of writing, should be the gnu general public license) applies. A copy should be supplied with the code. If not, go to: http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl.txt to obtain a copy.
